bgft ("we", "us") is a personal AI companion you reach by text message and, soon, an app. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. The short version: we collect what we need to run your Bigfoot, we do not sell your data, and you can leave any time.
What we collect
- Your phone number, so your Bigfoot knows who is texting and can reply.
- The messages you send us, which are used to build the tools, programs, and plans you ask for.
- The things your Bigfoot builds and learns for you (your plans, trackers, notes, and preferences), stored so your companion improves the more you use it.
How we use it
Only to provide and improve the service: routing your requests, generating your tools, and personalizing your companion. We may use AI service providers to process message content on our behalf. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing.
Text messaging
You opt in by texting our number first. Message frequency varies with how you use your Bigfoot. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Your data, your world
What your Bigfoot knows about you is kept in readable files that belong to you. You can ask what it knows, and you can ask us to delete your data entirely by contacting us.
Data retention and security
We keep your data while your account is active. We use reasonable technical measures to protect it. If you opt out and request deletion, we delete your world.
